It actually came out in the fall of 1981.
Heya, thanks for writing in. After rummaging around in my files I see that my date of release for the Tele-Games Super Video Arcade is indeed wrong, but actually in the other direction: it should be 1979 instead of 1980. I base this date on multiple sources, including the manual for the game as well as BIOS dates and various websites such as TheGameConsole.com. The Strong Museum also notes the earier release date. I’ll edit the entry to reflect the new date, but again, thanks for reading the site!
